Care Providers

WMC: Providing Compassionate Care Since 1984

It started with a single physician volunteering his time and carrying his medical supplies in a tackle box as he provided care to homeless patients in Portland. Those early actions taken by a selfless doctor named Jim Reuler sparked The Wallace Medical Concern.

Today, WMC is a Federally Qualified Health Center with multiple locations that provides primary care and urgent health care to all patients in need. Services are provided at morning and evening clinics, as well as on the Mobile Medical Clinic where patients can be seen and cared for by a physician right in their own neighborhood.

Adult Nurse Practitioner

Bio

As a primary provider, my goal is to help my patients make healthy choices and take an active role in their own well-being. I build long-lasting, open and honest relationships with my patients, so I can understand their motivations and goals. I try to be a good example and take care of my own health with regular exercise (hiking and snowshoeing are favorites), a whole food diet, and spending quality time with family and friends.

Behavioral Health Provider

Bio

As a behavioral health provider, my role is to support people in taking better care of themselves.  Sometimes that is about making healthier choices (not easy!), and other times it is more about learning to cope differently with stress.  I am passionate about helping people engaging in changes that bring them closer to who they want to be and how they want to feel.
