Who is eligible?
WMC provides health care to people who are uninsured and low-income.
What kind of problems can WMC treat?
- WMC provides basic care. Some examples of the medical problems we can treat include: respiratory infections, bladder infections, ear infections, fevers, skin rashes and simple foot problems.
- Twice a month we offer dermatology care.
- Twice a month we offer podiatry care.
Unfortunately, we are not able to provide care for: mental health conditions; gynecology, dental or sexually transmitted diseases. We only see uninsured people. We do not accept the Oregon Health Plan or other insurance.
What are clinic hours and locations?
Wallace has two clinic locations
- Wallace’s Gresham Clinic (services for all ages)
- Clinics held on Monday and Wednesday evenings.
- Starting April 5, 2010, Gresham clinic is scheduling appointments by phone.

- Doors open at 5:30 p.m. Patients with appointments accepted until 6 p.m.
- Patients without appointments may be seen if there are “no-shows”.

- Wallace’s downtown Portland Clinic (services for all ages)
- Clinics held on Thursday evenings.

- Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Patients with appointments accepted until 7 p.m.
- Patients without appointments may be seen if there are “no-shows”.

What else do I need to know?
The Wallace Medical Concern is a clinic for uninsured people only. We do not see patients with Oregon Health Plan or other insurance coverage.
